Question: How can i tell if im right handed or left handed on my guitar!?

People use their writing hand as their picking/strumming hand, but whichever you're comfortable with!.

If you write with your right hand, typically that is the hand that you strum with!. Most people make chords and other things with their left hand and strum with the right!. It really just depends on which one you are comfortable with!. Most guitars are typically right handed guitars!. If your's is a righty, that's the way you should play to avoid confusion later down the road!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I myself write with my left hand (as well as play golf, cricket etc) but hold a guitar 'normally'!. The handiness of a guitarist comes from the hand they strum with!. So if you sturum with the left and do the fretting with the right you are a left handed guitarist and an electric guitar will be harder to find and more expensive!. An acoustic can typically be inverted and restrung!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Im left handed (writing) but I play guitar right handed!. (unless it's "air" guitar, then its left handed!.) I play golf right handed, fish right handed, throw left handed!. (unless its Darts, then its right handed) My Grampy used to write with his right hand, but draw with his left hand!. I have to think quite hard when giving directions as to which way is left or right!. So just do it the most comfortable way, (Right handed is probably easier,cos chord notation & tabs are right handed!.) Hope that clears tings up 4 U!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If its a right handed guitar and it feels okay then just go ahead and play it like that!. If you are a genuine 'leftie' then you will need to buy a left hand guitar (or else reverse the order of the strings and play it upside down like JH)
