Good Duets for a Soprano and an Alto?!

Question: Good Duets for a Soprano and an Alto!?
My friend sings soprano with a very high range, and I sing alto, with a fairly low range!. Could also be soprano and mezzo-soprano!. No specifics as to what genre!. Any suggestions welcome!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
For classical/theatre, you can try:

"Barcarolle" from 'Tales of Hoffmann'
"When at night I go to sleep" (Evening Prayer) from 'Hansel und Gretel'
"The Flower Duet" from Lakme
"Cat Duet" by Rossini (you can have a lot of fun with this - search it up on youtube ;D)
"Pur ti miro" from 'The Coronation of Poppea'

And if your high G is comfortable, you can try:
"Che soave zeffiretto" ('Letter Scene') from Mozart's 'The Marriage of Figaro'!. It was written for 2 sopranos (hence the high G even in the lower part), but it's a beautiful song if the two of you can pull it off!.

"In His Eyes" from 'Jekyll and Hyde'Www@Enter-QA@Com
