on a george striat video a member in his band was playing a flat almost table top instrument with steel like strings!.!.!. he had a metalic like tip thingy on his fiber !.!. almost looked like he was playing a table top guitar!.!. what kind of instrument is it!.!.!. does anyone know!.!.!. thanksWww@Enter-QA@Com

Could have been a resonator guitar, lap steel guitar, electric lap steel guitar, electric table steel guitar, electric pedal steel guitar, or a lap slide guitar!.Technically, a "steel guitar" isn't a specific type of instrument, but rather any instrument that can be played in the steel fashion (with a steel slide held in the left hand)!. If it was horizontal and had a square neck it was a resonator guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
