Yes!. Anyone that has been regularly visiting here since last year will know that it wasn't like this!.
We used to speak about music, go off-topic sometimes, share our views on issues, we all got on /so/ well - and it really was like the golden age of R&P!. Then January came along and I think /many/ of us noticed a slump!.
It was slow and boring for a /long/ time!. All of a sudden it became full of trolls,'Who's your favourite user!?' questions and so on!. And questions that had been asked before kept being asked again and a-bloody-gain!.
I'm never mentioned in these popularity questions and while it used to bother me - it feels just like school, where I'm ignored by everyone - I don't care as much anymore!.
I still care a tad, because it does feel so much like 'real life' to me, but I should stop being silly!.
I didn't come here to be popular, I came here to do the one thing I can't do in 'real life' [because no one I know likes Rock] talk about music and expand my musical knowledge!.
It would be me to give a long winded answer, hehe!.

there was apparently a time when it wasn't, as guys who have been here a lot longer than i have like to recall!.!.!.it's a shame that this section is a popularity contest, because it's about sharing love and knowledge of music, which is exactly what i said in the doc's question

Maybe I'm just oblivious to all this popularity sh1t!. I come on here to find bands and to talk about music with other people!. Every once and a while it's nice to do something fun with the section like the joker thing or taking over parapsychology but that's about it!. I think people know who I am, and at this point I think my opinion is respected musically, which is all I care about!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it's starting to become one but I couldn't careless about how popular I am!. popularity leads to conflicts and as usual when someone becomes too popular there is always someone who wants to take them down!. look at Judas Rabbi for an example
