I rated the bands above on a scale of 1-5 stars!.
Don't listen to that guy below me!. He's probably a Jonas Brothers fan!.
EDIT- Dude, no one agrees with you and you don't know what you're talking about!. Yeah, anyone can go to wikipedia and find a list of a million ska bands!. Why do you need to tell the asker this information!? I'm sure he/she already knows and he/she wanted HUMAN recommendations!. Not a list of every ska band that ever existed!. And oh, I'm so hurt that you don't like my favorite band!. Do you think that's going to get me to defend them like a 12 year old girl defends N*sync!? Absolutely not!. You said it yourself, your not even a ska fan!. Why in God's name would this person listen to what you have to say!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

No Doubt!. really goodWww@Enter-QA@Com
Honestly!? There is no such thing as a "good" Ska band!. The genre itself is quite horrible!. BUT, if you insist on pursuing it, check out Fishbone!. They are a lot of fun and don't take themselves too seriously!. I saw them with the Beastie Boys back in the late '80s and it was actually a great show!.
As for the person above me, I'm not sure why trashing the Jonas Brothers makes them suddenly more of an expert on Ska!? And no, I'm not a fan on theirs either, but I'd listen to them all day before an entire Sublime CD!.
You have to be careful of whether you want type of Ska you're seeking, because what you think is just Ska will often times suddenly become something totally NOT what you were looking for - as is the case with a lot of the Ska-punk bands out there or even No Doubt!. It has gone though many changes since its inception in the 1950s!.
You might want to go to Wikipedia and just type in "SKA!." It will give you a good heads-up as to the history, as well as many links to where you will find exactly what kind of bands you want for the specific Ska in which you're interested!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
