Answers:
This is a good harp for the blues because the reeds are set up to be able to bend notes on a pull that’s when you draw in air though the harp and if you stick wit it you will grow to love this instrument!. But before you know it you will have yourself a collection of them, one for every key, and may be ever a chromatic harp or two!. I play with a guy that keeps his harps in a fishing tackle box he has many different types of harps and he can truly make the things sing!. His name is Ed Cogan and he has been playing harmonica for many years now!. Your friend really gave you a great gift now it up to up to make it sing have a good time and enjoy the process you will never regret leaning to play!. Playing music will bring you joy for the rest of your days my playing is so important to me and I would not know what to do with out it!. For playing the blues with other people you will want to learn about paying what they call cross harp, it is a style were you play a harp in a different key to what the signature of the song is!. For example if the song is in A you will play a D harp!. This is why you will want a harp in every key so you can play with other people!.
