Question: Soulja boy killed hip hop!?--your opinion!?
my opinion is that he cannot be compared to what real hiphop is even tho he has lots of fans and hes cool and everything!.!.he cannot be up there with jay-z eminem nas 50 cent lil wayne!.!.his soulja boy song was meant to be a dance only and it was because of most of us ppl who listened to it!.!.it was only for myspace and everything but then ppl loved it!.!.so i like soulja boy as a person but not for his music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Can't say he killed hip-hop because it's still very much alive!. It may not be the type of hip-hop that you and I may like but it's still hip-hop!.
In fact it's always been about expressing yourself, unafraid to take risk by creating something new!. While I find his music very annoying he's doing just that for a newer generation!.

I couldn't agree with you more!. I was at a Foot Locker today & Soulja Boy came on, & I was honestly embarassed!. But you said Lil Wayne, & he is not the definition of true hip hop!. No way at all!. Almost none of his songs have any meaning, other than 'Something You Forgot' & probably some others!. And Lollipop !? Please, that song is garbage!.
