Question: Would it be plagiarism if i wrote music and used classic poems as lyrics, then sold the album!?
We're talking small-time stuff, just selling it to people in the mall, friends!. Just trying to pay the bills!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
If you got sued, you'd be in trouble!. Small time or not, using other people's stuff in plagiarism!.

Rocker Greg Kihn watched a B-movie in the Bay Area while still a small timer!. Lo and behold, someone had used some of his music without permission!. He sued, won $700,000, started Beserkley Record with the garnerings and released "The Breakup Song" (They Don't Write 'Em) as the first single!. The rest is history!.

If you want to finance some poetry writer's estate, go ahead and pretend you're too small to be noticed!. Just be wary of where Greg Kihn's lawyers are!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Most Likely you would get in trouble!. What if you sold one of "Your albums" to a person at the mall and they just happen to be a director or a part of a big record label!? Something to think about!. lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
