It annoys me a lot, when I ask people to name a good rock song and half of them say : Durch den monsoon from Tokio Hotel!.!.!. I mean, they are not even a nice band!. I see them as Punk Rockers or Heavy metal dudes!. It is really so annoying! Some people though, really know what good music means!. Have this happened to you!?

They follow trends!. Their getting music from bad sources, such as, MTV and the radio!. Their taste in music changes a lot of because whats "hot" and whats "not" changes a lot!. Sometimes I don't blame them for listening to crap because it's easy to follow something and sometimes it's hard for them to find good music!. They'll probably get over this and realize that theres better music out there!.

To a certain extent, all genres and sub-genres of music are subjective and open to personal interpretation!. No two people will ever totally agree on what constitutes definitions when it comes to music classification!. As such, I don't get bothered when people classify music differently than I would!.

Again it seems like people are missing the fact that Rock has a lot of Sub Genres!.!.Everyone knows what Rock is!.!. Some people just don't like the same types as you!.!. The fact that a Band isn't nice does not make them any less Rock then a band that actually is nice!.!.!.So you don't like today's Rock, that's fine, neither do I ,but getting mad over it isn't going to get you anywhere either!.!. I hear ya!. I grew up in upstate NY in the seventies, I know what ROCK is and Tokio Hotel is not it!. I hate it when people call lamo bands like the Jonas Bros!. rock, ha,ha!. Gee, let's just call Barry Manilow rock!!!.!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
big rock fan here!. i enjoy everything from blink 182 to black sabbath!. and i would never say tokio hotel is a good rock band!. they're kinda punk alternative!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
