Questions for all those who were part of the acid house scene in the UK - circa !

Question: Questions for all those who were part of the acid house scene in the UK - circa '88 to '94!?
Were you part of it!? What was it like!? Overrated, or the best times of your life!? Neither!?!

also - did you get a sense that some people had been damaged by the scene!? In what way were they!?

What made you stop going to raves!? Or are you still going - why!?

If a friend called you up today and said, 'Let's go to a rave and get off our faces', what would you say!?

Lastly, do you think the acid house scene has had a profound effect on how you see the world and people!?

Why so many questions!!!? a) I am fascinated by the scene and b) I am a student journalist at journalism school and may write a feature about people who have left the scene (don't worry, I won't use any quotes here - and in the unlikely-hood that I would I will contact you for your permission first!)!.

Thank you all - and er, "nice one" ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

the gangsters wrecked it with poisonous drugs and skanking people , 1988 to 1991 4 years of paradise, the rest is hell, the thing is you didn't need the drugs , apart from speed to stop you getting pissed, meeting new people who were buzzing like you made it great, waiting for the next tune to lift you , some made good of it some made bad of it, i would love to go back to 1989, and watch myself for a night see if i looked cool or a fool lost or found, i honestly fought i was dancing with the devil, walking around the bullring in hulme Manchester still tripping with no aim felt close to heaven!. so to me i love and miss it,Www@Enter-QA@Com

i went to a few clubs in 94, i was abit to young for the full scene 88 onwards, i sneaked in with fake id when i was 15, it was the biggest eye opener of my life , it was truely amazing!!
i never managed to get to the hacienda in manchester, but my mum and dad used to go every week without fail, they loved it!. i knew what they got up to (drugs) but every week they used to come back with a story of what they got up to and who they met,
and as far as doing it again, any time there is a party and some tunes are being played they are always the last to go home,
they stopped going when the hac closed down, they tell me it got to rough
they are in there mid fiftiesand could party anybody in there 20's to the ground!.
lucky to have parents like that!!!!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
