Well the truth is it doesn't really matter!. If you want to strum, then I would suggest a flexible medium pick, if you are just plucking notes the a thicker medium pick, but what works the best for me is getting a pick with some sentimental value!. It brings out something in me that no regular guitar pick can!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I usually only use thin guitar picks, but i find that it sounds better with a medium guitar pick when playing an acoustic guitar, maybe becuz the strings are thicker on an acoustic then on an electric guitar!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like to use medium ones on my acoustic (nylon strings)
But if you have steel strings, spring for a heavy one!.
