Question: PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER! How can I tell my friend she isn't that good of a singer!?
Okay me and another friend want to tell her but know she will get mad!. It's just that I mean she is a good singer and stuff but she forces it and trills to much and adds opera to pop songs or rap or hip hop and stuff and it's really annoying!. And everytime I sing a song she gives me a good comment or says "You were off key A LOT!." and then she sings a song I will be nice and give her a good comment or I will be truthful and nicely say "That was good but you were just a little bit off tune on most of the parts!." and then she would be like "Well you weren't that good either!. I mean you were off key almost all the time!" and then we will argue and she will say that a lot when I am on key!. And everytime she sings bad I want to give her a bad comment but her sister gives her a good one and then she(my friend) gives me an intimidating look so I have to give her a good comment!. I really want to tell her cause I don't want her to embaress herself!. I'm about to add more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

So why compare each other when you sing!? Just have fun, that is what singing is about!. Don't comment at all, just let her sing and she should let you sing too!. If your friend gives you negative comments, just tell her that your not singing for a competition, but for fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
This shouldn't matter to you!. Just take her to someone who knows about singing (choir teacher maybe) and have her sing infront of him/her!. Let an expert give an opinion if she really wants to have one!. Otherwise just let her sing any way she wants and leave it alone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
you should let her perform for a crowd and hear the response if she is terrible the crowd will let her know!. if your ever in new york take her to the apollo for amature night!. that is a really tuff crowd, it should gve her a dose of reality though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
don't just randomly tell her, that's mean!.

Just record her singing, let her listen to it and be truthful, most people dont know what they really sound like, so listening to a recording might be helpful!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

DONT TELL HER! she respects you and your opinion and the last thing you need to do is tell her she is terrible!. Just support her!. Best thing to do is support each other and leave your "true" opinions out!. If you tell her it might ruin your whole relationship, her feelings and it will scar her for life!. I'm a really nice guy and I really don't know how to tell a person they can't sing but maybe you can hint it to them by saying something positive and use "but" options You on your own on the but Option lol cause this is my example lol Hey that was nice but I don't think you should be a singer unless you take some voice classes :DWww@Enter-QA@Com
OK when she says "Ur off key ALOT" all u do is when ever she sings just talk to Ur friend and don't pay attention to her and if she asks you if it was good u just tell her yea sure whatever and if or when ever u guys get into a fight say "u suck at singing and ur sound like a dying goat"Www@Enter-QA@Com
give her positive comments that are truthful first so she won't feel bad and then just give her the bad comments in a polite way- I had the same problem with my friend and it drove me crazy since she kept critizizing my singing, I didn't tell her but someone did!Www@Enter-QA@Com
