Question: Is it Fair in Hip Hop to do this!.!.!.!.!?
I noticed people would say certain rappers are the best since they passed away!.!.!.!.
But yet!.!.!.the rappers that are alive right NOW!.!.they wouldn't say they're as good as rappers that passed away!.
I ain't talking about LiL Wayne either so he's out the picture!.!.!.
Like if I ask!.!."Who's better Jay-Z or Biggie!?"!.!.A bunch of people would say Biggie because:
1!. Biggie died HAS TO be remembered in someway
2!. Jay-Z is still alive making money and in the future might make an album that isn't better then ones before!.
3!. Many say Jay-Z copied Biggie's style!.!.BUT he hasn't sounded like Biggie since about 2000(8 years!)!.
In Addition we have people saying 2Pac is the best representative for the Ghetto & Streets!.!.better than Nas! Why can't they be equal!? Because Tupac died & Nas is still alive!?

Most of the people that say that pac and biggie are better than everyone else, haven't listened to REAL rap lately!. Nas is way better than 2pac!. The people that say otherwise are basically posing and trying to act all cool because they like the "old-school" stuff, but they don't realize or are not willing to recognize the great music that is coming out now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
in regards to the Tupac and NaS thing!. they both have completely different styles, alot of people say tupac is the best representative for the hood, because they could relate to and understand his flow!. with NaS alot of his style is political and harder for most people to stay along with!. its not because tupac died he gets the title, its because of his talent and ability to reach out to a larger group of listners!. atleast in my opinionWww@Enter-QA@Com
Completely agree!. But they both got killed in fights so of course they're gonna be glorified and Pac was a human rights activist which props him up!.
I think that rappers, no matter dead or alive are good if they're good and they'll all have their turn to be proped up someday but people should realize that the way some one dies away doesnt make them any better than another!. no matter if you go out w/ a big bang or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think BIG and Pac get overrated for not just the fact that they died but how they died, in the middle of a beef in an age when HH was huge!. So yes I think Pac and BIG are great but not head and shoulders above everyone like some people think!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think 2pac is really the king not just as an artist but as a person,he was a civil type of person u know!?he was against police for the crooked things they have done and he made speeches,his mother is in black panther!.!.!.i mean and plus he was a poet!.!.so all the things of those plus his lyrics into good tracks about his mom and his friends and "fck the police" and not just that,when ever he talked,well most of the time he would have proper english,not all "gangster" or non understandable words,he is not overrated in my case because of all hes gone through in his child hood and how he acted and his songs are krazy!.!.!.yea there is people now who can do it but 2pac STARTED it!.!.!.which is why hes the king,and no one can ever be as good as him oh and he was like MLK in a little way if u think bout it!.!.!.he always stood up for black people and he was more of "OUR" generation,so when ever Pac would speak people would listen because he stands for so much and he was only around 20-25 when he died!.!.i dont remember how old he was,so if he wouldve lived rap would be different and plus!.!.!.his lyrics would have gotten far more betterWww@Enter-QA@Com
I understand what your saying!. Well, Im going to speak the truth!. Most people say Tupac and Biggie were the best rappers, but don't even listen to them!. They are just, how do you put it, "riding somebody elses dick" It is a possibility that because Tupac and Biggie are dead, they are automatically Gods of Hip Hop, which in a way isnt fair to the other rappers!. So, in all it depends on how the person feels about that rapper!.

It is unfair but most of the rappers who passed away werent like the others they actually rapped about life or something more meaningful than drugs/money/sex!. Lets take Tupac as an example okay he had 2 sides of hip hop one about Sex/drug/money but get his other side where he talked about making a change about what teenagers go thru when thier pregnant and other topic!. listen to his songs thats why we say hes somewhat the best!. yes their is rappers that may or are better than the ones who passed away!. Lets take Nas as an example but imo i say he need a lil tiny bit more improvement to pass Tupac's level!. but Nas is definitley going to be better than Pac with a lil more improvementWww@Enter-QA@Com

the other bc of retirement
it would be fairly equal because you obviously are going to remember your *first* favorite artist and how you felt when they stopped
but if one kept rapping you are going to take their music for granted becuase new stuff is always coming out rather than no new stuffWww@Enter-QA@Com
