Question: Is anyone here else afraid to turn on their hip-hop radio station these days!?
I am because everyday I hear the same **** like Lil' Wayne, Chris Brown, The Dream, Young Jeezy, and Rick Ross !.!. it's starting to frustrate me!. I wish Hot97 and Power105 could play hip-hop that we all appreciate!. Perhaps some Old School Mobb Deep or Big L!. Maybe some tracks off Illmatic!. Maybe some old Biggie and Jay-Z!. Why can't radio stations do that!? Don't they care about the listeners!? Do you think all hip-hop radio station listeners want these same old Soulja Boy, Chris Brown, and Rick Ross junk everyday!? They need to think about the real hip-hop fans in their cars, not just the 16-year old girls who like to shake their booty and act wild, and the guys who think Lil' Wayne is the best rapper alive!. It's riduculous!. I'm not saying hip-hop/r&b radio stations like hot97 should stop playing the same, "popular" **** everyday!. They should mix it with a lot of good hip-hop too!. I don't think they care about the real hip-hop fans who want that Nas, Big L, the Wu, Mos Def, etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The key thing to remember here is that these radio stations are a BUSINESS first, and everything else second!. The only thing they care about is ratings and making money, and you do that by playing the most popular songs, not necessarily the best ones!. The radio stations couldnt give two shits about what you want to listen to, they are only concerned with making money!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
