Which is a better Bass pack?!

Question: Which is a better Bass pack!?
I'm not very into lessons and learning the notes, all I want to do is Jam, and play till I can't play anymore! I am a BIG fan of Flea (RHCP) and I play the same style of music as him!. Funk Rock, Punk Rock and Alternative Rock, Really energetic and fast paced stuff!. I just need a good quality bass (Easy on the fingers for shredding if possible), for a good price!. I don't pay much attention to equipment, since all I want to do is play and let the music flow!. So I'm going to buy a bass with the whole Package, with amplifier and all that stuff!. These are the packs I'm concidering

I have the Squire kit and have played the Ibanez kit!. I'm normally a guitar/piano player but wanted a bass to have!. The Squire needed some set up work out of the box, but once you get things adjusted, it plays much better than the Ibanez!. Ibanez has really gone into the "cheapo" market agressively, but I don't think their gear holds up!. It's gonna hurt their brand name in the long run!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It all depends on what you like to play really!. I definitely don't like Epiphone basses myself, and would buy the Ibanez, because I believe they make better basses, but it's really up to you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

fender or squier basses are def the way to go
you need one with a split single coilWww@Enter-QA@Com
