Its not the end of downloading music for free is it?!

Question: Its not the end of downloading music for free is it!?
I download songs for my ipod and NO i dont sell them!. I dont use Itunes as it is ridicously expensive - its like 79p - 99p for each song!!!!
Anyway the government said they are going to spy on every computer i mean is that legal!? Where is our privacy!? Dont these musicians and record company directors earn millions anyway!?
Why do they have to make life difficult in this already hypocritical world!?!?!?
Billions of people use file sharing!. Its not like they are going to be stopped!Www@Enter-QA@Com

30 years ago the same issue arose about selling blank tapes because everyone obviously used them to record music fro the radio or tv!.!.!.artists signed big petitions but nothing came of it!.!.!.!.the shops made too much money seeling these cassettes to want to stop!.

The same will happen this time with Internet Providers!. The competition is tough and they wouldnt want to pi^s of customers who would only swich to another IP not applying the code of practice and there will be many!!

It would take a change in the law to make this thing work and that would make any goverment lose a lot of the young vote!
I agree that you should only write music for pleasure and if you are successful you would till earn a good living from loyal record/disk collectors and from concerts etc!.

Dont worry too much!.!.!.!.I cant see it happen!. Generally speaking this is just about greedy successful artists wanting to maximimise their income to the most possible monetary figure!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on what country you live in!. In the US it would be illegal for anyone to monitor your computer activity!.

I agree, itunes sucks!. The sound quality is low, the selection is nothing but mainstream artists, it's very expensive, and the file format is the most inflexible of any audio file I've ever used!. I wish OiNK had never been shut down!.

File sharing is showing no signs of stopping, no matter what countermeasures the RIAA or other groups take!.

Download on, my friend!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah this story is rubbish

Your ISP does not know what you are downloading (if they did why not report all the peados and terrorists), what they know is your useage!. If you have a high useage they are assuming it is illegal downloads!. If you are using a P2P file sharing protocol all they know is that you are downloading something, the rests a guess!. If you get a letter do what I will do and write telling them to bugger offWww@Enter-QA@Com

yer this is rubbish but i recon they cant really do much all they can do is decrease download speeds by assuming you download illegally if you have high usage but that wud suck for people who are legit
anyway now sales are down artists are now forced to do more gigs for money!. thye cant just spend 3 months a year touring then sit on their *** the rest of it they gotta play as many gigs as possible which means us the fans will see them more!.
woo illegal downloading!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think they will use a couple of cases as an example!.
its silly cos we have down loaded stuff wouldn't have even heard let alone bought and then maybe bought another cd
by artist!.
but every computer can be checked - like they can pinpoint
every mobile
wish they would use money get rid of terrorists and improve
our schools - just another soft target!.
at mo i'm into radio on i tunes - there is so much i jst flick
from chill to rb to rock - a lot has no ads and the nice thing is
you never no wot is coming next - going to download some of
this as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I can see both sides of the argument!. I download stuff illegaly but can see that it's bad for the music industry!. If artists aren't getting money for their work then why should anyone bother to make music!. Price of CD's has to come down drastically before people stop file sharingWww@Enter-QA@Com

Well I boycot I Tunes too because it's too expensive!. But they do have other web sites that are much cheaper!. I don't know of any off hand, cause I do the free thing too!. LOL I will never buy a IPOD again because they make it so difficult to download music from anywhere other that I Tunes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no!.!.!. what they're going to do, is ask 6 of the UK's ISPs!.!.!. Orange, BT, Carphone Warehouse, Tiscali, and a couple of others!.!.!. can't remember who!.!.!.!. to write to users who download using file sharing networks!.
The punishment will be reduction in your download speed!Www@Enter-QA@Com

beleive it or not, lots of upcoming bands make little (if any at all) money due to filesharing!. I agree cd's are a rip off, but its harsh on the bands that spend lots of money to make and record songs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

please watch this its important
http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=vuBo4E77ZXo&f!.!.!.
it may give insight on what may be your answer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It better not be!.

Can't this government use money to lower taxes, raise NHS funding and lower the cost of living instead of wasting money on invading our privacy!?

I bet Gordon Brown has broken the law a couple of times!

xWww@Enter-QA@Com

If you can listen to tracks on a player (cd/mp3/etc!.) they can be copied and uploaded!.

There is no way to actually stop it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i doubt that will happen or i will not have any more music to add to my zune and that would totally blow my lifeWww@Enter-QA@Com

They wont, its too much trouble for them, just a bunch of ***holes trying to rule the country againWww@Enter-QA@Com

F the govtWww@Enter-QA@Com

'beleive it or not, lots of upcoming bands make little (if any at all) money due to filesharing!. I agree cd's are a rip off, but its harsh on the bands that spend lots of money to make and record songs!.'

I agree, but then someones still creaming the money somewhere if its not the upcoming bands and thats just as bad, these up and coming bands could do what some others a have done and showcasing for free online leeaving people to decide for themselves what they should pay for it, yes lots of people fileshare for free, its good way to properly check what else is on the album apart from the singles or advertsied stuff!.

I beleive, or at least it has been in the past, that most will be prepared to pay good price for anything that they think is good, shared mp3s are ok, but if you really like something you want full quality cd's and will pay for them if they are good!.

I certainly with yahoo radio heard stuff on there and then brought the cd, rather then download what i wanted later on for free, if its good ill buy it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
