Doors fans: would you buy a jim morrison spoken-word -only poetry album, ie amer!

Question: Doors fans: would you buy a jim morrison spoken-word -only poetry album, ie american prayer material + more!.!.!.
without the tacked on music!.

this is just a straw poll, im not in a position to offr you such a cd, but i'm interested if enough people wanted to buy such a cd whether the families who hold the rights [morrison's!? & courson's!?] might be persuaded to finally release all the spoken word recitations by jim that still exist!.!.!.!.the music and video back catalogue has been exhausted, but i wonder how many people would still be interested in a word only cd!?
might be a fitting finale project to get together for a 50th anniversary cd box set!.!.!.no!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Are you referencing the Birthday poetry tapes or the Paris tapes!? Since the birthday ones were already released on American Prayer it would just be a matter of separating the vocals from the music and balancing them out so they sound good!. The Paris tapes are still being talked about!. It seems that the Morrison and Courson estates do not want to release them, and do not plan to!.
For hearing the spoken poetry without music in the background, I would love that!. I always thought the instrumental parts of American Prayer were beautiful but I am not sure if that would actually be what Jim had in mind for the poetry album!. also, sometimes the music takes away from the words beign said!. I have always loved Jim's poetry, especially the ones from the book, The American Night!. Because this was my favorite it made it extra special that this was done on the poetry album (American Prayer, the poem itself, is my favorite and I really like some others) I would not be opposed at all to hear the just words, I would really love for that to happen!.
The only other problem would be the selling of it!. I am not sure how many people would be interested in buying this!. Spoken word is not popular at all when it comes to sales, regardless of the content!. also, since so many different people like The Doors for so many different reasons I do not think that you can appeal to all of them for this reason (for example, some people I know or have spoken to only like The Doors because they buy into all the "crazy" things Jim did, like stuff he said, drugs he did, blah blah blah) these people may not be interested in poetry, as it is obvious that they don't totally like The Doors for who they are!. Another example would be some teeny bopper (I know, dated word) that only like The Doors because Jim is oh so hot, so again, they would not be interested in the poetry aspect!. Fans may also feel that it is the same thing over and over and we aren't having any new projects released (such as the documentary and big name concerts) There would be people interested (the fans that seem interested in the poetry aspect of it), but I am not sure how well this would sell to "normal" people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd buy it!. I'm a big fan of Jim Morrison and The Doors, and so is my mother!. I love Jim's lyrics and poetry and I'd certainly like to hear it without music to back it up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
