Question: Help!?making my own rap!?
hi!.!.!.!. im kind of mew to the rap section on yahoo but im definetly not new to rap!.!. its in my blood!.!.!.
my brother is a rapper and my uncles are but i just need help trying to make a rap!.!. im 15 and i want to keep it in the family yanno!? and im a girl (DUUH!) im 4rm california!.!.!.!.
and my uncle told me the concept but i forgot!.!.!. i need tips and advice and suggestions!!!

1)keep it real aka rap about stuff that applies to you, i kno u in the wild wild west so u just may have some intersting stories to tell
2) make it a job, if ur serious about it, then it should be an every day thing something you are constantly workin on and critiquing!.
3) good feedback, let your material be heard but someone that knows hip hop but also someone that wont sugar coat it for you or just flat out hate on you!. Getting good feedback is necassary for perfecting your craft!. Im sure ur bro and pops could help you with that!.
4) learn or get down with someone who can make beats!. Mite as well be versatile but if you cant get something like fruity loops or some instrumentals

Listen to, and pay attention the the rhythm and rhymes of your favorite rappers!. Note that the rhymes are often no "true" rhymes, but cleverly phrased "near rhymes!."

Start with the chorus to me it's easier when you know what you have for the chorus!.
Listen to other artist and see if you would like to have a flow like theirs or if you want to represent in a different way!.

you need to make a mind map and right down all ur ideas
first u need a main theme (ex!. ur culture, religion, country, boy)
then u need to figure out the tone (angry , soft)
and also if ur writing about ur country are u writing something negative or positive

then many rappers rhyme so u need to just start writing some (listen to artists to see their style, their pace of rapping)
and u just have to keep practicing untill u get their cuz it takes alot of work
