Watts are how powerful the amp is!. And they cost!. A 15 won't really be a WHOLE lot softer, but it will distort if you take it loud (and not in a good way)!. A 100 amp will be significantly more expensive than a 15!.
What are you using it for!? Unless you're in a band and do big shows, you don't need 100!. 15 is fine for bedroom play, but I'd go with 30 or 50 which should suit you fine for small gigs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
