Question: How would you classify this kind of piano lesson!?
i was wondering what it would be called if i said i wanted to work on my understanding of piano chord compositions, with chord roots, the roles of 9ths 5th's and 6th's, of minors and majors!. And learning how they can contribute to a song!. (ie happy/upbeat feel, sad/dramatic vibe)!. would this be considered music theory or is there another more appropriate term for this type of learned!?!?

yeah, this would probably be considered music theory!. i think some people might also call this composition theory, but there's not that much of a difference!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
