Okay, so!.!.!.trying to find some middle ground!.

I suggest a mix of generic with genre specific upbeat!. If you guys know some popular songs in each other's preferences, you guys can all sing along!. But the key is to keep things flowing!. If you keep transitions smooth, people are less likely to complain!. In my suggestions I'll try to keep upbeat - sometimes the problems start when things slow down!. Admittedly, I don't know too much about your genre, but!.!.!.

For your friend who likes country:
I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why) - Alabama
Unbelievable - Diamond Rio
You're Like Coming Home - Emerson Drive
Friend In Low Places - Garth Brooks
Nothin' to Lose - Josh Gracin
Be My Baby Tonight - John Michael Montgomery
Days Go By - Keith Urban
Somebody Like You - Keith Urban
It's Five O'Clock Somewhere - Alan Jackson
Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffett
Hey Good Lookin' - Jimmy Buffett
Kerosene - Miranda Lambert
Young - Kenny Chesney
Summertime - Kenny Chesney
I Love You - Martina McBride
Feels Just Like It Should - Pat Green
Life is a Highway - Rascal Flatts
Honky Tonk Badonkadonk - Trace Adkins
How Do You Like Me Now!? - Toby Keith
Leave the Pieces - The Wreckers
Brand New Girlfriend - Steve Holy
If You're Going Through Hell - Rodney Atkins

Whiskey Girl - Toby Keith
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynrd
Picture to Burn - Taylor Swift
Unbroken - Tim McGraw
Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood
Suds in the Bucket - Sara Evans
Something Like That - Tim McGraw

It's a mix of older and newer country, but if you know any of them, you can see what I'm trying to get at!.

For your friend who likes alternative:

101 - Albert Hammond Jr!.
Dirty Little Secret - All American Rejects

Misery Business - Paramore
Breakin Up - Rilo Kiley
I'm Just a Kid - Simple Plan
Memory - Sugarcult
Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard

Chances are, you won't like some of these artists or songs, but I'm just trying to give you an idea!. Remember that whatever list you have should include any songs that are special to y'all!. For instance, I have a friend where the song "Don't Speak" by No Doubt is an inside joke!. A couple of my other girls and me sing "All The Things She Said" by tATu as badly as we can when it comes up on one of our ipods!. Include any current or past radio hits that you can agree on - even favorite Disney songs (no one can resist A Part of Your World or Hakuna Matata!)!.Try and remember any time when all of you were singing together and make sure those songs make the playlist!. also, don't be afraid to put a few slow songs if you can agree on them!. And once again, a smooth transition is your best friend when it comes to music!.

Good luck, considering your varied music tastes, you have a bit of a task ahead of you, but I'm sure you'll get it!. Hope your road trip goes well! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
