He was truly underrated!. He was doing a lot for where he came from!. He played the bass drums, the keyboards and also!.!.!.!.everyone knows was a master at the turntables!. He stayed in his childhood neighborhood his entire 37 years!. He founded the "Scratch DJ Academy" in Manhattan for kids interested in DJing!. In 1989 he established Jam Master Jay Records!. In 1993 he had big success with the Onyx which he produced and recorded!. He was "murdered" over a hit by "Murder Inc" over a stupid beef about 50 cent!. He left a wife and three children!. He was a great producer, and even though he didn't die rich!.!.!.anyone in the music industry that you ask about him had nothing but positive things to day about him!.

I rate him right up there with the greats!. Peter Piper still my favourite beat of all time!. Beats to the Rhyme crazy dope too!. Its a shame how we went out, how the hell can anyone kill JMJ is beyond me!. RIP, never forgotten!.
