Look dude, Drowning Pool is metal because they use riffs, and out of all of rock'n'roll, if there is one style who's fundamentals are riffs, its heavy metal!. Not only that, they are very percusive to fit anywhere else other than heavy metal, and the bass plays an important role, another metal characteristic!. Maybe the song structure or the lack of solos might make you doubt, but dude, they are so very metal, just like Black Sabbath (who lacked solos in their early work mind you) and Judas Priest!.
As for your real question, mine would have to be Goo Goo Dolls and video game soundtracks in general!. I mostly listen to black, power and folk metal, so changing gears is always good, and refreshing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well I don't really have a typical set of tunes I listen to I listen to all types of metal & Yes I consider Drowning Pool Metal R U crazy they're old lead singer killed him self but, I'm not sure what to say about them these days I've only heard 1 song of theirs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
