Question: Can anybody get signed to a record label!?
Now that all these talentless bubblegum artists are getting signed into record labels, can anybody get a record deal!? I mean how the hell do you expect all these sucky rappers to get record deals, and all these excellent myspace rappers (sarcasm-charlie check'm) and underground rappers are not getting record deals!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, not anyone!. The reason clown-a$!.!.s rappers keep getting signed is because social control has alot to do with music!. People can deny it all they want but it's not a coinsidence that rappers and that whole world in general is full of complete morons right now!. Here's the thing, many rappers today are discovered mainly one of three ways!.
1!. High level of online/underground hype!.
2!. You're friends with a big name rapper!.
3!. You knew how to sell yourself to an A&R person!. (very very few make it this way)
about 95% of rappers out right now came into the game in one of those three categories, the rest are pretty much by accident!.
About 60% Underground rappers for the most part are lame copies of the mainstream who want to make it big!. The other 40% are WAY TOO conscious for the mainstream, another thing is that good underground rappers can't be neatly grouped together into one category for MTV/BET etc!.!. so the listener would end up having a choice, which in many ways is bad as you can't ping-pong the listener to different artists as you see fit!.
What you call sucky rappers the industry calls 'assets'!. They're used to control listeners in mass and steer them towards the ideals, fashions, products, and mentality they want you too see!.
many few people notice so many artists in the mainstream today are pretty much the same identity cut and dressed to look like something else!. The mainstream is a machine dude, people really need to accept it and make as much money as you can underground!.

Do you know how many record labels there are!?!? Hell, my friend's neighbor has his own record label that he operates out of a damn trailer!. No lie!.
Do you know how many artists MAJOR record labels sign that they drop!?!? People make a big deal about getting signed to Def Jam but only 10% of Def Jam signees actually go on to make an album!. With Aftermath, its prolly like 1%!.
The reason why underground rappers dont get signed is because, they simply dont want to!. Do you know how many lyrics Immortal Tech!. would have to change if he got signed to a major label!?!? His album would be one track long and that would be an interlude!.

and imo the reason alotta of underground artists dont get recored deals is bcuz alot of them dont want them!.!.!.!. bcuz then they would be exspected to b someone/something other than their selves!.!.!.they would then turn into a recored industry puppet and since alotta of them pride themselves on making music of quality not quantity (and for the love of hip hop) that would not fit alot of underground artists!.!.!.!. nowadays there is a stigma that goes with being mainstream and alot of underground cats dont want that sigma!.!.!. whereas back in the day underground ment u were still tryin to get a recored deal but mainstream was more about qaulity then!.!.!. now everything has changedWww@Enter-QA@Com

Anybody who will be profitable to record companies can get signed!. Its on us the consumers to choose more carefully what we buy because if they aren't making money off Soulja Boy he won't be in the public eye!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
