As for the MTV ballads, the problem was this!. Glam metal bands released at least two singles per album, a very metallic song, and a power ballad!. The problem was, that radio stations and MTV gave more time to the ballad, i!.e!. it was played more often, in audio and video forms!. This caused the general public to perceive metal as cheesy and not very serious at all!. Not only that, but add to it the satanic imagery many bands, popular and underground, had at the time (and still have today) and you get a recipe for being shunned by society in general!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd have to say Jonas Brothers or MTV!. I used to think the NBB was the worst, but I've actually heard a good song by them that wasn't utter shyte, and so I've sort of changed my opinion!. Secondly, NBB doesn't have a large enough fan base like the Jonas Queers to overrun existence!.

MTV power ballads are part of the worst thing to happent to metal: Glam metal!. Metalcore is worse, but wouldnt have hapened if Glam people hadnt started combining genres with metal!.

Honestly Jonas Brothers and Naked Brothers haven't really affected Metal!. No one considers it metal except for if you have a case of retardation!. Us metalheads pretty much keep a distance from the Jonas Brothers!. None of us really paid attention to MTV, though they played a lot of Def Leppard, they were the MTV band to watch!. I just consider them hair metal!.

I do not know what impact the disney bands would have on metal, so i'd have to go with the MTV ballads!. MTV (when they actually played videos) killed the mainstream genre and then moved on to the next fad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
