I also am sick of the music industry trying to pump out Amy Winehouse "clones" to capitalize on the Motown & Blues sound that she's brought back to the forefront!. I thought "Mercy" was a pretty good offering from Duffy, and I prefer that song over Warwick Avenue!.
With that said, I am glad to see more soulful music finding it's way into Pop radio rather than it being filled with nothing but Duff, Cyrus, Jonas, and Spears marketing machines!. So, thank you Amy & Duffy for giving me a slight glimmer of hope that mainstream radio hasn't totally sunk into the black abyss!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know that I'd call that particular song pop myself, there is a lot of contemporary jazz influence there!. Duffy has a good voice for that particular style!. (as does Amy Winehouse but her exploits turn a lot of people off!.!. such as myself)!.
Duffy's voice is unique - it's an either love it or hate it type of thing!. In a top 40 overly commercial song it just wouldn't work, but this reminds me of smokey jazz clubs of the past and it fits there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

oh I like her voice, she's has a coupla more song out gettin airtime that I like too and she's been on quite a few shows, kinda reminds me of the pop sonstresses of the 60's like Dusty Springfield and others I cant think of right nowWww@Enter-QA@Com

I think Duffy and Amy's voices are very similar; both having that soul/blues sound to them, though Amy is most likely one of her major influences!. Overall, I like her, and Amy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really like Duffy she has a particular voice, it's very relaxing!!!! And I think that this song fits better on her because Amy winehouse has a deeper voice that it's not suitable for this song!.!.!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com
