I know all genres of music have their worst!.!.!. but it seems like rap just cant get anything good!. Old school rap (dre, snoop, 2pac) is pretty good, i must admit!. But new rap (lil wayne, soulja boy, and uhh!.!.!. so many horrible names i cant remember all of them) have no talent and what they talk about is so stupid!.!.!. don't know why anyone likes rap!.!.!. it takes no talent! anyone can make a rap song!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nonetheless, you should try listening to conscience rappers like: Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Kanye West, Common, Dead Prez, Nas, Little Brother, Outkast, Immortal technique!.!.!.!. ****, the list is endless! Oh god, not the "rap takes no talent" argument again!. Okay, why don't you go home make a high quality hip hop beat, write some good lyrics, rap them, then come back here, post the song, and see the reception you get from hip hop fans!. It is not by any means easy to pick up a mic rap well!. Not to mention a good fraction of hip hop artists do play instruments, such as The Roots, Outkast, Cunninlynguists, RZA, hell, even Lil Wayne plays electric guitar!.

There is no better genre between the two!. There is so much rock music right now that is absolutely trash, you got a lot of nerve climbing on your high horse like EVERY SINGLE rock album that gets released is actually good!.

If you only expose yourself to the rap music on the radio or on MTV, VH1, and BET , you are not even prepared to have an honest discussion about real MC's, especially since these outlets have consistently promoted the most watered down, pathetic excuses for rap music for YEARS!.
