soo many great voices!. i hate it when you cant think of them when you want to---i may be back to add more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

MALES:

I think Don Henley has the best quality voice in rock and roll!. He can sing everything from hard rock ("I Will Not Go Quietly," a duet with Axl Rose) to country, from soul to rock, and he can can evoke considerable emotion with his voice as well!.

I also think Elvis Presley was very underrated as a singer!. We all know why people watched him in the 50s, but now, 30+ years after his death, all we have left is the music -- and sadly it's only after someone dies that we can see the quality of the product they left behind!. In Elvis's case, you listen to him sing a ballad like "Always on My Mind," a gospel number like "How Great Thou Art," then a blues song like "Steamroller Blues," it shows just what a variety of styles of music the man loved -- and how well he performed them all!.

FEMALES:

'Retha!. 'Nuff said!.

Linda Ronstadt!. I haven't always agreed with her song selection or the arrangement she used to record those songs (I think her arrangements ended up butchering every Elvis Costello song she covered); however, that woman has a marvelous voice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
