Let me put it to you this way!. Last summer I played Ready to Die for a bunch of my friends who are all 70's, 80's rock kind of guys!. They can't stand hip hop!. Well Ready to Die changed some of their minds!. The reason why they liked it so much is because they said it had "soul"!. And its true, when Biggie rhymes you feel the soul come out in his lyrics!. Not many rappers can claim that!.
