Well, I'm a girl, so I don't really have any advice on your voice deepening, sorry! With all of the shaking and nerves, I CAN help you because I have those same problems :) o!.k!.!.!.!. when I try out for something, I always get shaky too!. I'll make you a list of things you could try haha!.!.!.!. :

1!.) When you are trying out, look RIGHT about the judges head!. This gives the appearance of you looking at them, but shakes some of the nerves off for you!.

2!.) Shake your whole body before you go on stage!. This actually helps, even though it sounds silly!. :P

3!.) If you are trying out, you need to know your song!. You do know your song, even though your freaking out telling yourself that you don't!. You need to tell yourself that you DO know it, that you are so confident in it!. Other people can tell you this, but it doesn't have the same affect as you telling yourself!.

4!.) Don't over-practice it! When you're at home practicing your song, practice as much as you want to!. When you get to the auditions, practice the song 3 times, maybe 4 times at most!. This is so you don't psych yourself out haha!.!.!. it really does help :]

I hope all of this helps you! Good luck, I know this helps me!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Much respect to you my friend!.

I used to sing in choir when I was between 10 - 14!. Perhaps I should have kept my singing going because I love singing!. I too used to shake when I sang solo!. I never really cured it, until the advent of karaoke!. I dreaded singing solo still - and still shook as a full grown big tough adult LOL!. But, when people told me I sounded pretty good, it gave my confidence a real boost, and now I sing many times when I go to social club karaoke and I don't shake any more!. What I do when I sing, I imagine I am alone, sure a little alcohol helps steady the nerves, I 'own' the song that I sing and imagine that it was my own record and song!. I found that the more you sing in public, the less nervous you become - as long as you sound okay, and the crowd will tell you that!. I'm too old to make a serious go of it now, but I wish I was as young as you!. Good luck to you Deco, give it all you have and keep practising and shake those nerves off!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The nerves thing will go with time (to be honest, they never completely go and if they do, you're becoming too complacent) but if you're good, you should get a singing coach!. They will definitely bring out the best in you!. I believe the UKTS is more drama based and as such, will not do much to improve your singing!.

start a band, be your own singer!. Nerves fade in time, eventually you can just hop on a stage and say "I own this"
if you have a natural talent just focus on your own techniqueWww@Enter-QA@Com

Most guys' voices deepen during adolescence, so that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with your talent, or that you let your voice go!.
If you feel your musical needs aren't being served by your school choir, you don't need to be in it to sing!. When I was in high school, our school didn't have a real choral program, just an English teacher who led a gospel chorus!. They learned songs by rote and sang with horrible technique!. I decided that I did not want to participate in that ensemble, but I had been singing for years and wanted to continue!. I started taking voice lessons at a nearby college, and learned a lot!.
I was also very nervous about performing solo, and if speak with your voice teacher about it, he/she can probably help you work on that!. Deep breaths, confidence in what you're doing, and trying to block out the fact that you have an audience will help calm your nerves!.
Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com
