Seymour Duncan pickups or Dimarzio pickups?!
Question: Seymour Duncan pickups or Dimarzio pickups!?
I have a Jackson Soloist, Mohagany Body, Maple top, a rosewood fretboard, and need 2 humbuckers, music I play is mostly Hard Rock and Metal!. So which brand should I choose!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Both are great and basically the same quality level but I would choose the Duncans!. I have played guitars with both but the Duncans are better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm gonna be awkward and suggest neither!.
I'd get a set of passive EMG humbuckers!. They'd be around the same price, but they have a very high output, and because they're not active pickups, you don't have to worry too much about the wiring, etc!. Plus, the passive ones sound clearer (in my opinion) than the actives!.
But if it has to be between Duncan's or DiMarzio's, I'd go both!. Duncans have a bit more "bite", which makes them well suited for the bridge pickup!. However, DiMarzio's have a rich, creamier sound!. Perfect for the neck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
