Who owns Pomp and Circumstance rights etc?!

Question: Who owns Pomp and Circumstance rights etc!?
Who owns the copyright and all that for Pomp and Circumstance!. Is it only specific recordings of it that are copyrighted, or is it the song itself!?

Would it be possible to use it in a video without having to pay royalties!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The music is in the public domain!. So only specific recordings are copyrighted!. If you used an old recording that was in the public domain you would not have to pay royalties!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The first answer is correct!. Remember that copyright in recordings lasts for 50 years, so many made in the 1950s and sounding perfectly good are now outof copyright!. BUT if they have been remastered and reissued, copyright will subsist in in that remastering!. (Nice to see someone bothering about copyright for video purposes!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Elgar (1857-1934): Pomp and Circumstance No!. 1 (1901), No!. 2 (1901), No!.3 (1905), No!.4 (1907) are PD in the U!.S!.
Number 5 (1930) and the constructed from sketches No!.6 by Payne (2006) are still under copyright which are controlled by Boosey and Hawkes London!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
