I'm a bit of all of them!.!.!.!.always have been, always will be, I guess!.

Edit: OMG, Amazingwoo, I LOVE them, too! Something is just so!.!.!.!.forbidden about them, especially him!

And hate to break it to you Timothy, but goth wasn't around in the 80's!. Unless you count Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club as the first goth!.!.!.!.

Edit: But was it known as "goth"!? The styles you guys are all talking about were known as "mods" or punk!. Sure there were people dressed in black like Robert Smith, but the "goth" title didn't surface until the 90's!. Or was I sheltered as a child!?

Edit: I hereby retract my earlier statements about goths and the 80's!. I suppose I was just a sheltered child after all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I went through an odd stage of being a bit of a new Romantic when i was 8 or so then my brother got me into some coold american stuff by the Cramps and I just grew off that!. Was way into my Iron maiden, Def Leppard, White snake through most of my secondary school years!.
My mom never let me wear the t-shirts and stuff though and my school uniform was not really open to personal interpretation!. Once I hit sixth form though I went all out but that wasn't til the 90s!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was a greebo (PWEI, Stuffies etc) with some leanings towards The Cure (who were not a goth band, goths were into Sisters of Mercy, The Mission and Fields of the Nephelim, far to much patchouli oil for my tastes, lol)

Edit: Goth wasn't around in the 80's!? ummm, I know many that would disagree!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well I was still really young but at the time I was very into (whispers it) Adam and the Ants!. The look, the music, I just loved it!. I wore the frilly tops although I did refrain from putting a white plaster across my nose!.

Even now, I always have an 80's CD of some kind in my car much to the disgust of the other half!Www@Enter-QA@Com

A new romantic I guess - though I liked a lot of the other stuff!. Flirted with the fashion - but nothing too bad!! Still 80s at heart !.!.!.!.!.!. I would like to hope so!.

Edit: Goths were around in the 80s - the guy I worked with after leaving school in 85 was one - it was mainly Sisters of Mercy, Mission, Jesus and March Chain - but also had a fondness for Cure!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
