Whats the difference in sound of acoustic or electric drums?!

Question: Whats the difference in sound of acoustic or electric drums!?
Answers:
Most electric drums have different settings for the drum set, which changes the sound (congas, rock set, etc!.)!. An electric set would sound less natural to say the least, like more a recording than the real thing, people usually only get electric sets to practice with because they can be quiet, and aren't usually used in concerts or shows!. Acoustic drums sound real, because they are, but the sound quality will vary on the actual drums, same with the electric set!. The bottom line: electric drums are great for practice, but will not have a totally real drum sound, and some things like rudiments (rim shots, moving outwards and inwards on the head) and sounds (hi hat variations)!. Acoustic drums are louder but will sound like actual drums and can be muted for practice!. Acoustic: Real, Electric: Not so realWww@Enter-QA@Com
