Actually, the first poster is a little bit off -- when they're referring to bands that only have three chords, they're usually referring to metal bands!. It doesn't take any talent at all to play a song comprised of three chords, and songs that only have three chords are pretty monotonous!. To give you an idea, most of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" is three chords!. Heck, there are a lot of metal songs that are mostly three chords!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
your probably listening to punk!. three chords would be three different guitar chords!. most people will say they don't like it (and i agree) because it takes no talent what-so-ever to jam three guitar chords over and over!. it's like your playing the piano, and all you hit is three keys over and over!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
