How to play with heavy metal speed?!
Question: How to play with heavy metal speed!?
what tricks should a beginner use tospeed guitar licks, what is an easy lick for begginers!. what should i do 2 gain speed, what scale should i use!. i know how to alternate pick, but i can't move really fast!? what would help my problemWww@Enter-QA@Com

I learned how to pick really quickly about4 months into guitar playing!. The speed on your fretting arm will have to be built over time and constant practice but your picking arm can be improved within a week or two!.

To tremolo pick do the following:
Hold the pick much closer and hold it correctly with your index finger and thumb!.
Hold it at an angle so that it is about 45 degrees facing either way and not directly perpendicular to the string (it'll slide through much easier)
Then, just move up and down as fast as you can while maintaining control and only hitting one string!.
This thing takes a lot of practice to get but the rewards will help you be able to perform at metal speed!.
After that, you will be able to pick as fast as anybody!. Now you must work on picking in co-ordination with your left hand!. At first you must start slower but you can pick it up after you feel like you can do it!. Soon enough, you'll be able to go as fast as you want and be coordinated enough to use different notes!.
This is what I use to practice!. Try playing the first to riffs on this song at the same pace or faster than it is recorded:

Then speed it up!. Just do this and improve your strumming had speed!. As for the fretting hand, most speed heavy metal is full of powerchords and pull offs hammer ons, so that'll come with more practice!.

Heavy Metal isn't about speed!.!.!.
just because some bands and songs are fast paced, doesn't mean that Heavy Metal is about speed-- there are many bands out there that are Heavy Metal and are very soft and slow!.
Maybe you should research a little bit, that will give you a better idea of the origins of Metal, subgenres, sounds of different subgenres, ect!.
