Yes you are!. You could become a very good singer, IF you really, really want to become one!. You will need to be very dedicated to singing and learning how to sing well!. Even though you are only nine, you will need to start learning as much as you can about music and singing!.
Just think, you could sing as a job when you are older!.
I have written out some steps to help you!.
- Practice singing (singing lessons, join the choir, join a band)
- Learn musical terms and learn to read music
- Play other musical instruments (piano and guitar)
- Pay extra attention in Language arts, Literature, and English class at school
Someone else wrote that you need to wait to know if you will really be good at singing!. When you are around 13-15 you will go through puberty and your voice will change!. Sometimes peoples voices become better, sometimes worse!.
I suggest singing higher pitched songs!. Try to learn to sing higher because most lead singers in bands have high pitched voices!. Your voice is pretty deep for a nine year old, which makes me think you will become a bass!.
Someone mentioned to devote yourself to academics (school), which is very important as well!. To be good at anything you need to be smart and work hard!. Hard work is very important!.
