Question: Van halen buffs please!?
ok!. van halen broke up back in the day and david kept up with a solo career!. he teamed up with steve vai and billy sheehan and made some stuff!. the album, "skyscraper" came out and had a couple hits on it!.!.!.ok, no big deal!.!.!.good marketing, great cast, etc!.!.!.!.but on reflection (and replaying the album years later), i can't figure out why this collection didn't go down as at least the best rock compilation of that year!. surely this pile of powerful showings should at least go down as a great accomplishment in the log books of rock history!. i know that dave is one of those contoversial figures who people either loved or hated, but damn! does anybody even acknowledge that this line up was an incredible combination!? "skyscraper" was such a kick butt musical collaberation!. i can only think it was to much for the spoonfed at the time!. what are your thoughts!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Okay!.!.!.!. Skyscraper was only the second album david lee roth realeased, and steve vai left the group after this and bill sheehan left the group before the tour !.!.!. and it had only one "pop" hit single that reached # 6 so i dont think you can really call it a great allbum!.!.!.
Second!.!. Van Halen never broke up!.!.!. david lee roth was replaced by sammy hagar in 85 then he was replaced by mich malloy and temporary reunion with roth in 96 then you had gary cherone!.!.!. then they had a hiatus from the public from 1999-2003 then a reunion wth hagar and again with roth from 2006 till present!.!.!.
During there hiatus from the public!.!. eddie was recovered from his hip surgery!.!.eddie also separated from his wife valerie bertinelli and eddie underwnet treatment for cancerWww@Enter-QA@Com
