Answers:
I've been an oboist for year years!. Playing classical music on the oboe basically comes with the title!. Anywhere you audition with it, you will have to play classical music on it!. Yes, some concert bands have boe parts, but it's just not common as oboe does not belong in either a Jazz band nor a marching band!. Oboe is great when played correctly and has a unique sound over all of the others!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Since I have been big enough to play it, and responsible enough to trust with, sometimes, an instrument worth millions of dollars, I have been an organist!. This instrument is capable of a vast array of moods and characters, but it is most notable for its majestic portrayal of the concept of 'Infinity'!. Its range of pitch goes both above and below human hearing, probably explaining its grandeur, and its success at suggesting 'infinity'!.

The best Organ music is polyphonic in texture!. When an eager listener hears more than one melody playing simultaneously, and greedily attempts to hear each melody, the [single] brain is sometimes overloaded with 'beauty', and the result is a sort of 'ecstatic explosion'!.

This is hard for even a large orchestra to accomplish, and the Organ manages it with ease!

I recommend this instrument to anyone desiring an enrichment through fine music! Cheers!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm with "Ian E", at least when it comes to listen to or look at: the organ is truly the "King of Instruments"!.

My favorite instrument to play however, is the piano!. During my life - am 73, played since I was 6 - I've achieved a fair degree of competency!.

But when I tried to learn the organ, was a total, complete, utter "wash out": was impossible for me to co-ordinate my feet with my hands!.

Violin first - always!. Then the cello, and piano after that!.

I prefer the stringed instruments because they can so closely imitate the human voice and express inner feelings in a more subtle way than the piano ever could, particularly when it comes to sustaining a note or phrase!. The piano is great for a full sound of all the parts, a wider range, but the violin and cello have "soul!."

Just my preference!. ;- )Www@Enter-QA@Com

clarinet!.but only the lower notes!.their easy to play and the sound texture is just nice!.rich and melodious unlike the notes in the upper register which have a screechy sound!.
