Question: Alto sax question! musicians help!!!!?
So I bought a C*S80 Classical mouthpiece and a Rovner dark Ligature!.!.!. In the beginning, my sound was very deep and !.!. well!.!. CLASSICAL!!.!.!. now when I play, after not playing for a week due to a family thing, it sounds extremely loud and has, idk how to describe it, but like an annoying sound that !.!. that it's like i bought a jazz mouthpiece!.!.!. is something wrong or just perfectly normal!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Try a new reed!. Maybe it became warped somehow!. When my reeds get soft, they seem to play louder with less resistance, and not to mention more out of tune!.

You might want to try a different brand and/or size of reed all together!. When I got a new mouthpiece, I had to buy a whole different kind of reed to get the right sound on it!. This is because the space between the reed and the mouthpiece differs with different mouthpieces, so you have to get the right reed!.

I personally love Vandoren reeds!. Zonda is pretty good also!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i dont know much about that instrument but this maybe right maybe the way your blowing that may change sounds thats very cleverWww@Enter-QA@Com
