Question: Did Hip Hop get this Way on Purpose!?
Have anybody ever thought why Hip Hop got this way other than most rappers making simple lyrics over water-down beats!?
Now!.!.!.I'm thinking maybe there's a purpose for all this!.!.!.here's my theory:
1!. Before 2001 or 2002 most rap artists came out with tracks that were very lyrical but didn't get much attention!. So therefore Rap music didn't get much attention(not as many fans as it does today)!.
2!. Sometime around 2001 or 2002 NEW rap artists started getting signed!.!.but companies only signed them to give them an image with weak rhymes & BANGING club beats so they can get the attention of Kids, Teens, Women that love dancing in the club but didn't really like Rap music for what it was before 2001/2002!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with what you said but i would also add that rappers started to lose motivation and real passion for hip hop and started to make music just for the money

Hip Hop is the way it is because of money!. Point blank period!. Saying money is the the root of all evil doesnt even begin to classify what happened to Hiphop!. Not even just Hiphop or even the music biz in general, but Entertainment period!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dude I dont even listen to radio any more, tell me why I still listen to Lupe's 1&2 ablum every day and nothin else a year after they came out!? Its cuz i gave up on rap!. I live in Atlanta and I feel that music has gotten in this critical condition by nobody but the fans!. The fans where the ones who supported this "Dumb-it Down Era" by promoting Southern Rappers who put weak lyrics on the map about decade ago!.!.!.!.and yes, I was a victim too because I was saying "OKAY!!" just like LiL' John!.!.!.!.but nobody knew exactly how far ignorance had spread until it was too late and the world created "Souja Boy"!. And since fans dont buy CDs anymore, rappers are broke, and being broke makes you desperate!. So there is a formula now!.!.!. COPY WHAT WORKS!. If talking about How many Bitches they Got, or how many Cars they own, and Drugs They sold sell records than, what worked for the last artrist can work for the next!. Hip Hop is repetitive but dead non the less!. Because if artists like Jay-z, Lupe, Eminem, Kayne,T!.I!., and LiL' Wayne can't save it Hip Hop, what make you think someone else will!?!?!? So if you think hip hop is going to come back around and save Rap, than dont hold your breath!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
