Why does everyone think my chemical romance is an emo/gothic band and all there !
Question: Why does everyone think my chemical romance is an emo/gothic band and all there songs are about death!?

Myspace DOES tag them as Metal!. What an insult to metal!.
There's a difference between emo and gothic!. People think MCR is emo, not gothic!. (Gothic tends to take from gothic fiction, which is a blend of horror and romance)!.
Why do we label them emo!? Because they act and look it!. Plain and simple!. Stop stereotyping yourself and we'll stop labelling you!.
It's just like how people think metal is about drugs and worshipping the devil, and pop is all OMG hair OMG nails OMG Jonas, and rap is all about slapping your baby momma!. Unfortunately there are ignorant people, but there are also bands that just support the stereotypes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally dont listen to them a lot!. but I like the stuff I've heard by them!.
