Black Sabbath, if it wasn't for them, there would be no metal, thus, there would not be Meatallica or Pantera or any other heavy metal band!.

Megadeth wins this for me!.
The songwriting is absolutely amazing in all songs!. They have creative names and concepts!.
They have their own distinct sound as well; anyone whose heard a few Megadeth songs can point them out from all the other bands of their genre!.
The guitar skills; dude, the riffs! Not only are they a delight to listen to, but they're unique!. Dave Mustaine's solos are pretty much as good as you can get without becoming cocky!. It's amazing!.
David Ellefson is another thing that made this band great!. Check out his work on Rust In Peace (see Dawn Patrol)!. It was said that Mustaine had to raise the bar on his guitar playing to keep up with David's playing!.
Lastly, vocals! Not only are Mustaine's vocals spectacular, but they use different people as well (see Go To Hell, when the rest of the band yells out 'Go to Hell' many times)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
