I'm not so sure if the "Outlaw" label has digressed to country pop, in as much as the new wave of pop country has just over taken all facets of country in marketabilty!. Outlaw is a term pretty much desiginating the origins of groups and artists that left the traditional Nashville machine recording scene, and came to be affiliated with the new Austin sound!.that Waylon blazed by his shunning of Nashville!. The New Country Pop scene is Mega Mega Nashville and, Nashville at its strongest in the market, in a long time!. It is surely claiming back many of those dollars that left a while back!. The Country Pop industry has refined the art of "market targeting and saturation" and, is claiming back huge chunks of the multi billion dollar pie!. This is not a random fluctuation in music styles!. It is a heavily manipulated and regulated campaign to get the most amount of the dollars spent in the music market!. And, yes the target is young women age group 12 to 26 that have an enormous amount of money to spend!. And!.!.!.!. the record labels are raking in with both hands!. Do not ever be under the illusion that the Country Music industry is about art!.!.!.!.!. And the Proto type was a young man named Elvis Aron Presly!.!.!.But if you'll follow the marketing morph!.!.!.!.A young man named Billy Ray Cyrus was the starting point for marketing and saturation lately!.!.!.!.!. And, his daughter Milley, Carrie, and Taylor are the current images!. From make up to clothing and anything that they can associate to there "banner" they will!.!.!.!.
