yes it bothers me!.so does big and rich and whole heck of a lot of other people claiming to be "country" that know NOTHING about country!.and you cant blame the musician,i blame corporate nashville and the big money makers!.
there is not one merle haggard or george jones on the market today!.nor is there a patsy cline or lorett lynn!.

They are country, just a different branch off the tree!. If you've listened to rock stations, or pop stations, they wouldn't really fit there, so singers like that end up on the country stations!. Carrie does sing some country and does a great job!. Taylor isn't as country, but the country younger fans like her style!. Not a big deal to me how they are classified!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No!.!.!. I have played country music professionally for 30 yrs!.!.!. and guitar for 45!.!.!.I am very comfortable in my understanding of country music and how it works!. And,!.!. how your music is labeled has alot to do with who is flashing the up front cash to produce these albums and images!. If you sign on with the Nashville moguls,, make no mistake ,!.!.!. they own you!. Thats how it is!.!.!. You will record the cookie cutter ,computer and poll generated pablum that you are told or you don't do jack!.!.!.!. There is to much money being tossed around for your "Uncle Bob" to be trying to handle your buisness !.!.It just doesn't happen!.!.!.!.
