Question: Tool fans, tell me why they are so great, I am open to your Answers!?
I am not a Tool fan, far from it!. I want to hear from the fans why you think Tool is such a great band!. (optional) I prefer answers no shorter than a paragraph, I want detailed descriptions!. I want them to be so profound I never say another bad thing about them!.

Hey shreder I have no problem with your opinion and lol on Darth's everyone is entitled to their opinion!. I've been a fan of theirs since 94 I just think their music is epic, when Aenima came out in 96 I was hooked on the album, I just like the way Adam Jones and Justin Chancellor mesh together!. When you hear Tool nobody sounds like them and I've seen them live a few times and enjoyed them!. They might not be for everybody but, I dig them, hey I deal with Tool haters all the time so this is no big deal lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Honestly, I did not really like them until I saw them live!. They put on a great show and this comes from someone who has been to over a hundred concerts!. Tool puts themselves out there when on stage, and while I'm don't know much about Maynard, for a little man he rocked (even if it was from an elevated platform at the back of the stage) I can't say I love them, but I have more respect for them as a good rock band after seeing them live!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, I think that they are pretty good musicians, to be honest!. I'm not their biggest fan, by any stretch, and they are not on my top 25 list at any rate!. However, they did bring a much more somber note to the grunge-infested world of the 90s!. They are also a little bit whack to hear, a la Pink Floyd and Type O Negative, just because they are so "unique"!. I think they are okay, I guess!.

They are unique and don't give a **** about what anyone thinks except themselves!. For example, in 18 years they've released 4 albums so they obviously want to release an album that they consider to be great!. I also like their attitude and what they have to say about society in their songs as not many bands write about the things they do!. I would call them artists as they make music to please themselves, which is very rare these days!. I think you either really like or really hate Tool; there doesn't seem to be much middle ground!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Tool overall is a great band!. I have never heard a bad song from them!. not only are they good on their records but live as well!. Tool just kicks @ss and are very devoted to their fans!.

I'm not a huge fan of Tool, but when I've been listening to death metal all day long, it's refreshing to hear a song like "The Pot" or "Eulogy"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am going to weigh in as a Tool fan because most of my friends also give me sh*t for liking them!. For me it comes from being a musician, so when I hear their stuff it's pretty impressive because I can appreciate the technical skill involved!. So that's what makes them good musicians, and the reason why their sound is unique!. Not many musicians have the sheer ability required to imitate that type of sound!.
It's not just Maynard, either!. Every single musician in Tool is working his a*ss off, and that is a rare thing to see in a band, especially now when manufactured teeny bop and diva comeback tours dominate the mainstream music scene!. Aside from that though, most of the songs resonate with my own life experiences, so I can relate to the subject matter!.
I feel that overall, the vibe is too negative and bitter, which is probably what turns most people away!. I mean how many times can you complain about sanctimonious Christians before it's time to focus on something else for a bit!? On the other hand 10,000 days has become my favorite album to listen to when I am in a truly sh*tty mood!.

Damned if I know, I can't stand Em!. My Friend thinks they're great!. I think they sound like a Puma trying to claw it's way out of a Thresher!.
