Well I hope you're not talking about rap or hip hop thats not even really music!. But the reason would probably be that nowadays there is no good music made any more (mainstream anyways)!. People who have absolutely no talent at all as a musician or a song writer can become famous just because they have money or look pretty, its no longer about talent or love for music its just about money and looking good!.
