Answers:
It would depend heavily on the type of guitar!.
There are dozens of different bridge designs, each with a different way to attach the strings!.

Anything from just hooking them behind some notch to feeding them through a hole somewhere to meticulously guiding them through a series of holes and posts!.

Check the manual, see how the other strings are strung, and/or ask your dealer or someone with a similar instrument to show you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unwind the top piece from the key and then just pull it out and then the bottom part of the string (in case it broke off right in the middle)

When you insert the new string, make sure its lose so that when you wind it up again it has enough lenght and it won't pop (break) again!.
First time can be a little puzzling but you'll get the hang of it!.

Rock on!

by the way:
when you srting your guitar up again make sure its not too tight, leave it a bit lose and then use your tuner to tune the strings!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Interesting, my nephew had the same problem!. Feed the string in through the back and up the neck!. The trick is to hold the string out about 2" from the neck and secure to the top!. Then you can start to tune it and it won't be too tight & snap!. Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

they are self explanatory, you need to ask people, that can show you,i use to tune my guitars to themselves!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
