my first idea was based on a dress a girl at my school made last year!. The idea is to get a basic dress, then get some shiny tough plastic and/ or pieces of glass (might be a bit dangerous though) and stick them on with random gaps here and there!.
If you're going for something easier and simpler, then maybe a sort of loose dress shirt and torn jeans or something along those lines!.
