Plus, the things they talk (NOT sing) about is pretty freaking inappropriate!.

Their is many ppl who listen to rap and rock its not a rule u can only like 1 I can appreciate many types of music, but overall i like rap the most!. The rock fans that hate rap probably never heard it and rap fans who hate rock probably never heard rock!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the newer stuff is all the same!. They're not really creative with that they're singing about!. It's more about what they look like and all the money they have, then telling the world their message!.

In a Microcosm I watched Tree Six Mafia perform their new single last night on the Late Show and there were 2 guys jumping arounds singing I have no clue what about!.
And 1 guy scratching Vinyl!.
Not my Idea of music noone actually playing an instrument Rockers work, work and work to not only come up with catchy lyrics but to bring intuitive sounds to go with it and they actually play the music!.
I just don`t see the talent in P!. Diddy or Snoopdog or any of them I just see someone who started something different and got famous!.
Well different may be new but that doesn`t make it good!.

I'm definitely a rock fan, but I can appreciate some rap!. For example, I'm a big fan of Lupe Fiasco even though hes a hip-hop artist!. I don't listen to sex rap or negative/demeaning hip-hop songs!. Again, Lupe Fiasco is great, as he sort of blends a few genres together!. He's pretty cool!. Love "The Cool" album!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

same as with all other types of music!. If it grabs my attention and holds it, has catchy hooks and is well thought out musically and lyrically, then chances are I'll like it!.

I don't listen to a lot of hip-hop, but I enjoy listening to Talib Kweli, M!.I!.A!., Public Enemy, Atmosphere, and a few others!. =]

They are not musicians, and most wouldn't even call themselves singers (thus the term "rappers") !.!.!.!.!.they rarely understand music, and they are mostly about marketing an image!.
The sales are good, so aren't McDonald hamburgers, and those are barely qualified as real food since the meat is so heavily processed!. Their sales are based on marketing!.!.!.!.not on making great food!.
Iron Maiden was never on TV, rarely had played videos on TV !.!.!.!.!.and I never heard them on the radio !.!.!.unless it was a college station!.!.!.!.yet still managed to sell out throughout the world!.
